Bengali Movies to watch out for in 2014.

With the start of the New Year 2014 let’s take a look at the Bengali movies which will catch our attention throughout the year.

It’s a story of reincarnation where Koyel will be seen in a double role; one warrior queen of 19th century and a modern day girl.
Koyel will be seen doing horse riding to sword fighting for the first time.

Dev, Shrabanti, Tanushree, Moon Moon Sen
It’s based on a story written by Samaresh Majumdar, which is about a boy Amol who gets involved into the world of crime.
We are looking forward to see Dev once again doing some good acting in a meaningful cinema after the successful "Chander Pahar".
Shrabanti had caught our attention in her non glamorous role in "Goynar Baksho" and we are very much hopeful that she will be able to carry forward that magic here too.

Prasenjit Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Jishu Sengupta,Riya Sen, Rahul, Abir Chatterjee, Ananya Chatterjee
It’s a fictional Story based on the reincarnation theme interestingly taking reference from the story of Antony Firingee.
The combo of director Srijit Mukherjee and actor Prasenjit Chatterjee has a 100% success rate at box office.
We are very much hopeful to see brilliant acting from Prasenjit Chatterjee especially in his double roles.
The rest of the cast also consist of some talented actors.

Raj Chakrabarty is back with another remake of a south Indian blockbuster and everyone knows how beautifully he adapts the story in a bong setting.
The story is based on the reincarnation theme, its one part is a periodic drama in ancient India and the other part is set on modern day India.
Looking forward to see Dev doing the deadly action sequences which includes sword fighting and martial arts.

Director Kaushik Ganguli is coming with another different type of story which revolves around the life of Subir Chatterjee the actor who had played young Apu in Satyajeet Ray’s “Paather Panchaali”.
This film has already been well received at different film festivals.
Waiting to see some brilliant acting from the leading pair Parambrata and Parno.

The director Srijit Mukherjee has a 100% success rate so far.
The plot of the movie is very interesting which is about four directors who are from different world of cinema and wants to make their own movies separately but at a point their stories criss-cross with each other.
Looking forward to see two veteran directors Aparna Sen and Gautam Ghosh acting under the directions of Srijit Mukherjee.

The story revolves around the life of Kadambari Devi, sister in law of Rabindranath Tagore.
Also it gives a view of the inner world of Jorasanko Thakur bari.

When Shaswata Chatterjee is in the lead role then of course the movie will be highly awaited.
The story of the movie is a satire on the present condition of Bengal.

The movie is based on the famous novel written by Rabindranath Tagore.
